THE OPPORTUNITY
The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for crafting and managing B2B content across our user lifecycle, from awareness to conversion and retention. You can strategize, implement, and be a cross-functional leader in all of your day's work. You can write creative email subject lines and deep-dive white papers.
You can produce quick explainer videos and orchestrate live webinars and panels to ensure it gets published and promoted to the right people in the right place at the right time. You are making a difference and driving the digital transformation for the B2B Digital Marketing efforts at Michelin.
This job is located at our headquarters in Greenville, SC, conveniently located within driving distance to east coast beaches, the Blue Ridge Mountains and large cities like Atlanta and Charlotte. WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy
    • Drive brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, and sales which aligns with Michelin's brand and business objectives
    • Identify target audiences and their key demographics, interests, and online behavior
  • Research and build high-quality, compelling, and SEO-friendly content
    • Formats, include website copy, thought leadership articles, white papers, eBooks, webinars, and other marketing materials
    • Effort may involve sourcing photographs and illustrations to accompany written content, format content and add meta information
  • Lead and optimize Michelin's B2B content calendar
    • Develop and maintain our B2B Digital Marketing editorial calendar to ensure a steady cadence of content production and publication that resonates with our target audience
  • Promote content through channels to maximize reach and engagement
    • Channels include social media, email marketing, and paid advertising
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics and user engagement
    • Use data to identify trends, optimize content strategy, and inform future content creation to improve content effectiveness and drive business results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Teams include product, data, design, marketing, and sales, to build content that supports business goals, addresses the unique needs and difficulties of our target audience and improves the customer experience
    • Handle relationships with external content creators and partners, including agencies, as needed
  • Stay up to date
  • Includes industry trends (AI, etc.) and best practices, and incorporate them into Michelin's B2B content strategy

  • You have a demonstrated ability in a content marketing or creative role, with a proven history of success in crafting high-quality, engaging content that drives measurable results
    • A portfolio of high-quality content across various formats
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field
  • You have strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
    • A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the power of content marketing to drive business growth and drive performance
  • You are Data Driven
    • Experience with SEO and keyword research to support content marketing best practices
    • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to advise content strategy and decision-making
    • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, content management systems, and web analytics tools
  • You are collaborative. You love working with data scientists and product leaders to tell data-driven stories. You love collaborating with designers to tell stories visually.
  • You can work independently with cross functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • You are compassionate - with colleagues and with customers
