Due to exciting growth we are looking for a Content Manager to assist the Marketing, Product & Operations teams with all aspects of written print both internally & externally ensuring all content is grammatically correct, fact-checked & consistent with our brand style & tone. This role includes maintaining the annual content calendar & liaising with both internal & external stakeholders to produce cross-content & cross-channel marketing campaigns & product content.
No two days are the same in this exciting new role, but on a typical day you will
- Create original, engaging, and SEO-optimized blogs and written content in the areas of travel, local culture, cycling, running, triathlon and more – drawing upon the wealth of knowledge from our product managers, local delivery partners and event partners.
- Write ad copy for paid search, e-mail marketing, print media, and social posts.
- Be a brand guardian & ensure tone of voice is consistent throughout all brands
- Finalise new tour itineraries including editing and fact-checking; make annual refinements and changes to itineraries as requested.
- Collaborate with the product managers and marketing team on website content, develop SEO-optimized landing pages, event pages, region pages, tour page descriptions, etc.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on cross-discipline content gathering and creation including video, brochures, blogs, etc.
- Provide input into the social schedule and post cadence, preparing content across multiple social platforms.
- Work with management to develop effective internal and external communications for various situations including customer-facing messaging, applications for awards, etc.
- Manage relationships/liaise with outside partners including PR firm, event partners, freelance event staff.

To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will
- Be educated to degree level in a relevant industry i.e., marketing, media, or creative industries
- Have working experience of copywriting & social media management for a brand, agency or sports organisation
- Have experience/ working knowledge of the sports business &/or travel industry
- Possess a solid understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok & Linkedin with experience in management of such platforms & creation of highly engaging content
- Have outstanding written ability including grammar & spelling
- Have a keen interest in our core offering of endurance sports
- Be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage with those at all levels including various partners & colleagues both internally & externally
- Have the ability to work across multiple projects both individually & collaboratively
- Have experience with relevant marketing/ design systems i.e Wordpress, Canva & email building systems
- Have the ability to embark on occasional domestic & international trips for work purposes
- Have keen attention to detail
