Do you have a background in owned channel content marketing? Are you passionate about owning and growing owned content channels? Can you bring your professional expertise in photography, editing and paid social media across to Asda?
We've a great role as a Senior Content Marketing Manager to join the wider Asda marketing team. In this role you'll be a key cog within the Brand Comms team where you'll be responsible for leading a team of content experts to identify and harness key content opportunities across the business, producing market leading and innovative content across a range of marketing channels to drive business growth and grow brand affinity.
About the role:
Reporting into the Senior Director your key area's of focus will include Paid Social channels, Photography assets on behalf of the total business, the Asda Publication and Asda Radio, you'll:
- Work alongside the Marketing Director to identify compelling ways to improve our content and harness opportunities to develop standout comms
- Be accountable for driving through innovative and best in class photography assets for the customer function that meet campaign needs, drive stand out in a competitive landscape & drive quality perception towards the business
- Be accountable for the creation and production of all paid social assets.
- Lead a team of SME's to work with stakeholders internally and externally to grow their knowledge and educate the business on how we grow and deliver best in class and innovative social content to meet the business needs and grow our social channels through innovation and engaging and test and learn
- Be accountable for end-to-end multi purpose, editorial, engaging and market leading content channels such as Asda Radio and the Asda publication to talk to a breadth of always on activity
- Responsible for managing a team of cross functional content experts who'll identify key opportunities across the business and key moments in time to drive relevancy and business growth
- Lead and develop a team of circa 10 marketeers
About you
You'll have experience working within paid social media and photography to drive business growth and brand awareness. You'll also demonstrate:
- Your background/experience with managing photography projects from agency or client side
- Strong understanding of multi-media channels and channel content
- Strong knowledge of social media and social channels
- Creative eye and knowledge of photography production
- Knowledge of publications and editorial creative
- A proven track record in managing agencies
- Ability to innovate and think outside the box
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to lead a team to land projects within reactive timescales
- Team leadership and development
