Job description
Content Executive - Remote (UK based)
Salary: £25,000 - £29,000
Do you love creating content and the fast-paced nature of the social media industry?
Amplify is a fully remote content marketing agency with zero corporate politics. Our clients are high-profile creators and entrepreneurs who trust us with building their brand, authority and audience online. We’re looking for the next team member to join our small but mighty team.
The role of Content Executive requires professional experience in the social media industry or relevant evidence that you have grown a significant online presence before. Training will be provided but the perfect candidate for us can demonstrate a high level of copywriting and efficient content creation skills to slot straight into client work.
If you love Alex and Leila Hormozi, Gary Vee and other business leaders who’ve taken social media by storm, this role is for you. We observe the best in the game and reverse-engineer what they do. Our clients know how powerful an organic presence is online and it’s our task to align a content strategy with what they are looking to achieve for their business.
So what’s in it for you?
- Flexible working hours and fully remote. As long as the work is done to the expected standard, we’re happy for you to create a work balance that benefits your personal life.
- We work like a team (not a group of individuals) and aim to meet every 8 weeks in-person to co-work and to have team socials. We take a collaborative approach to work, often coworking virtually for deep focus and accountability.
- There’s no ceiling to progression, we want you to come in and improve what we do. You’ll be empowered in your role to take ownership of your work and demonstrate innovation and a desire to experiment.
- We’ve worked with household names and continue to go after them. We’ve worked with Ali Abdaal, Sahil Bloom, Chris Williamson, Jordan Peterson and more!
Amplify’s Core Values:
Growth Mindset
- We know that clients are looking for results. We believe we can achieve them as long as we identify the correct inputs that will lead to the outputs.
Open Communication
- We have high standards for one another and over-communicate as we work remotely.
Initiative
- We voice issues as they come up so that we can find solutions to unblock one another.
- We have a bias to action and show resourcefulness to achieve our objectives.
_People-First
_- We're humans first and employees second. You will be supported at Amplify.
_Good Vibes
_- It's imperative to us that you enjoy being in the team. Clients enjoy working with us!
Being a Content Executive:
- Your day-to-day role will be to display excellent copywriting skills and an ability to capture an audience effectively online by creating engaging content.
- Efficiently repurpose long-form content into multiple formats for all major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube.
- Be the main point of contact for your 3-4 allocated clients, including taking check-in calls and answering their messages in Slack and over email.
- Work with our internal video team to produce engaging short-form video clips. This can include researching high-performing topics and writing scripts for clients to film.
- Actively follow the latest trends across social media to spot new opportunities and ways to improve our client work. This includes learning and using the latest AI tools.
- Measure and achieve agreed KPIs and report progress weekly to the Content Manager.
- Use analytics tools to measure how content is performing and act on the insights. Ultimately, you are responsible for growing a client’s following, increasing engagement, and driving meaningful actions from their audience.
About You:
- You have a minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in a marketing or social media role, or you can show evidence of high-quality content creation.
- You step up to challenges and know that in a startup it’s about getting your hands dirty to take on responsibilities and to be proactive.
- You have a strong work ethic and will be able to manage multiple client accounts. It’s critical that you can create a buffer of content to then review what needs to be adjusted.
- You are highly organised and demonstrate strong prioritisation skills. You can take yourself away from the busy-ness of Slack messages to focus on your workload.
