A fantastic opportunity to join an international humanitarian organisation leading on the design of user-centred content to improve end to end user journeys across our Crisis and Emergency Response Services.
What you will be doing
The Content Designer will support the design and improvement of key services across our Crisis and Emergency Response services. You will design content for users ensuring it is in the right place and the best format to meet their needs.
You will be an experienced Content Designer with a portfolio showcasing brilliant work to improve end to end user journeys, ideally across a range of channels.
You will have experience working as part of an agile, multidisciplinary team.
You will be able to engage, influence and support the product team and service experts to deliver user focused content.
Over the past two years, British Red Cross has supported over 4 million people affected by emergencies in the UK, including over 1.5 million people face to face. The CER team is a multidisciplinary team working across the disasters and emergencies portfolio area in the UK. Our team is small but what we can accomplish is significant. We’re united by a shared passion for user-centred design, data driven decision making, making things better for our volunteers and staff, and ultimately delivering valuable services and products to people in crisis across the UK.
The team are part of UK Operations which includes subject matter experts and operational delivery specialists. The team collectively work on the Crisis and Emergency Response product portfolio which will comprise face to face and online services as well as the tools, plans and processes our frontline teams need to deliver them.
