Job description
CABI has ambitious plans for its compendium programme, including developing our datasets and tools, and reaching more users with our rich content. These authoritative products form a crucial part of our long-standing and high-quality publishing portfolio, and are a key part of our role within the research and practice community – supporting both research and development projects. Development of the programme will allow CABI to support the research community as well as deliver on its important mission.
You will be responsible for improving content coverage in the CABI Compendium, including invasive species, forestry and horticultural food crops. This involves staying up to date with research and industry developments to ensure we identify gaps and areas for further coverage or update. The role includes identifying authors and commissioning/processing datasheets through to acceptance. The role also involves maintaining relationships with data partners and processing data for bulk uploading to datasheet lists and tables.
This role is perfect for someone looking to apply their background in life sciences and experience in publishing within an organisation!
