Up North Cabinet Makers design, manufacture and install kitchens and fitted furniture for a domestic market in South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. Everything we make is to a high standard with an importance placed on sustainability at every stage of the business. Projects can include kitchens, wardrobes, bookshelves, alcove cabinets, entertainment units, studies, free-standing furniture and more. We cater to a broad range of budgets, styles, and tastes. Everything is designed and made from our workshop in Sheffield, where we have a range of tools and equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our small but growing business and play a key role in its progression, while developing your own skills and expertise along the way. You will be part of a small team and work directly with, and learn from, the owner of the business. We are looking for someone with a passion for designing beautiful furniture with a consideration of its environmental impact. We are looking for someone with a passion for creative marketing, communication and crucially, someone who is curious and excited to collaborate.
What would you be doing?
· Social media content creation
· Photography and video creation using a DSLR
· Google ads
· Facebook ads
· Website development and blog posting
· Data analysis of campaign performance
· Communicating with customers
· Keeping customer records updated on Trello, our Customer Relationship Management system, and embracing the other various technologies we use.
· Development of business practices
What type of person are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will:
· Experience with email marketing, social media, updating website and SEO/PPC
· Strong written and verbal English communication skills
· Have a high level of IT literacy
· Have impeccable attention to detail and an eye for design
· Be a confident communicator
· Be motivated and enthusiastic to learn and progress
· Ability to work well in a team
· Have a full clean UK driving licence, or willing to learn to drive, as the role requires work on customers’ sites
The following would be a bonus, but don’t be put off if not:
· A relevant degree in marketing or events is desirable
· Experience with SEO
What are all the practical details?
Starting salary: £22,000 - £26,000 pro rata (dependent on experience)
Contract type: Permanent full-time
Location: Unit 5, Unity Works, 329 Petre Street, Sheffield, S4 8LJ
Transport and parking: Free parking is available. The office is serviced by bus routes and is a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. There are cycle storage and shower facilities.
Start date: ASAP
