AJ Bell are looking for an experienced financial services content creator to join our Marketing Team and help take our adviser-focused services to new heights.
As an ideal candidate, you will lead in the delivery of new and engaging content, defining our content strategy, and managing delivery in the most suitable format across written, video or podcast.
What does the job involve?
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Researching and writing new content independently, as well as working closely with various departments to generate regular and relevant content for the AJ Bell Investcentre (advised web platform) and AJ Bell Touch (new advised app platform) audiences.
- Coordinating with external sources, for example support service providers, consultancies and regulatory bodies, to commission papers, webinars, podcasts, and videos relevant to target firms and their clients.
- Innovate to find new channels and media to engage with users in our target market.
- Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organise, and write material such as product information, procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation as simple, polished, and engaging content.
- Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold brand and legal standards.
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all content.
- Work with the Design, and Motion and Video Teams to deliver fresh content across our various channels.
Qualifications, knowledge, and skills
Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the successful candidate will have:
- Financial services industry experience from a technical perspective.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Be on the pulse with regulatory and technical news.
- Willingness to work hard, learn quickly and demonstrate high level of flexibility.
- Proven ability to quickly understand complex topics.
- Be accustomed to working to tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
