ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a passionate and creative content creator to join our team. This role sits within the marketing team and is responsible for ideation and creation of inspiring and engaging content with a focus on social.

The ideal candidate is creative with strong storytelling skills. You understand and are passionate about luxury, handbags and sustainability in the fashion industry and circular (fashion) economy. You know your baguettes from your book totes, PMs vs GMs and can artfully explain the difference between WOC and a crossbody. Caviar is not something you eat, and you can wax lyrical about intrecciato weaves.

The role will suit someone used to working within a small team or start up, who is happy to roll their sleeves up and deliver results.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating content which will catch maximum customer interest while showcasing product, following our brand guidelines and creative tone
  • Create engaging content (videos/reels/pictures) for social media platforms; TikTok, Instagram
  • Ideation, planning and execution of content to support key business launches, product updates, partnerships, events, campaigns and promotions across all marketing channels
  • Support the implementation of organic and paid influencer campaigns, with the view of where and how to maximise influencer content in addition to driving reach and engagement across platforms
  • Research on trending topics, content etc and how best to incorporate them into our overall brand and content strategy
  • Day-to-day management of COCOON’s social media channels (TikTok, IG, FB, Twitter, Pinterest, etc), with a strong focus on growing our TikTok channel
  • Analyse and evaluate core content KPIs, including engagement and conversion with the view of understanding what works and what doesn’t and how to improve
  • Plan and schedule social media posts, using scheduling tools as needed
  • Use social data and metrics to track, analyse and report on performance of social media channels on a weekly and quarterly basis
  • Respond to customer comments on social media channels and escalate queries to the member relations team as needed.
  • Support the development of the content calendar based on plans provided by the wider marketing, merchandising and product teams, with the goal of driving customer acquisition, loyalty and engagement.
  • Provide content benchmarking, competitor reviews and staying up-to-date on latest digital technologies, trends and innovations as well as researching new opportunities to connect with our community. Advise on formats and assets that would enhance social media effectiveness.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse and respond quickly to new social trends and relevant cultural moments. Provide on emerging and upcoming trends, especially on social and advise on which should be rolled out across other channels (e.g. email, paid media)


Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience working in content and social media - preferably with high-end brands (relevant industries: fashion or lifestyle products)
  • Must be digitally savvy, creative, and detail-oriented with a passion for storytelling through video, imagery and words
  • Strong interested in luxury, handbags and the circular fashion space
  • Strong writing and editing skills for social media content, email newsletters and websites, with good storytelling instincts and ability to maintain brand voice. Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with graphic design skills and confidence in learning new programs
  • Experience creating video content for social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, YouTube and Tik Tok.
  • Comfortable using Google Analytics and social media monitoring platforms to analyse and interpret impact of social media content.
  • Positive can-do attitude with the ability to act on initiative and be focused under pressure.
  • Highly motivated team player, interested in working in an entrepreneurial environment and happy to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
