Are you passionate about the power of consumer insights and the value it brings to a business? In this newly created role, you will be our consumer research expert globally, working across our portfolio of brands at a time of great focus on and investment in consumer insights. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the strategies of a range of iconic brands, across a highly varied and global remit.
You will drive consumer understanding across our portfolio and utilize this knowledge of consumers’ lives to focus our brands on the biggest priorities, strongly influencing brand strategy. You will be experienced in qualitative and quantitative techniques, with an active interest in new research innovations, to continually deliver high standards of insight that accelerate brand growth.
You will lead our brand equity tracking programme, working with our agency partner to manage our extensive programme of work across 7 global brands, addressing any problems (e.g., in sampling) and working closely with global stakeholders to deliver compelling, timely, actionable analysis that drives brand performance.
With your infectious passion for consumer understanding you will drive cultural change in creative and engaging ways: exciting and equipping stakeholders around our business to get closer to their consumers.
What you’d bring as Customer Insights Manager:
Demonstrable experience in Insight from either client-side, agency or consulting.- Boundless curiosity to discover what consumers want, why they want it, and how we can influence them through great research and in-depth analysis.
- Knowledge of global businesses, particularly US-based businesses.
- Strong research skills, from ethnography and sample design to reporting, with excellent experience in quantitative and qualitative approaches and brand trackers.
- An active interest in new and emerging research technologies.
- The ability to turn complex data into clear insights with business-led recommendations and proven strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills and are comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
