What is the opportunity?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful team and develop a detailed knowledge of the Banking industry. The role will primarily involve the accurate and efficient onboarding of personal customers via telephone and online applications. We will deliver training which will allow you to develop an extensive knowledge of our business and an exciting career in Bank of Ireland.
*Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract*
In this role you will:
- Be accountable for delivering brilliant service in every telephone and email interaction with our customers.
- Develop an in depth understanding of products and services, supporting delivery of customer focused solutions.
- Fulfil customer applications received via the BOI UK website including efficient and accurate input of applications and handling incoming and outgoing calls with customers who wish to open accounts over the phone.
- Demonstrate a desire to learn and develop in a fast paced, changing environment whether it be identifying innovative solutions to support customers, building your own skills & capability or achieving through continued studies.
What will make you stand out?
Ideally you will have customer service experience, either a face to face or over the phone, demonstrating a high standard of service in every customer interaction.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good attention to detail, maintaining high levels of accuracy whilst working to tight timeframes.

NI Consumer Direct is responsible for the onboarding of all personal current and deposit account and the processing of personal overdrafts in NI & GB. Based in 1 Donegal Square South in Belfast.
It is a hybrid role with work based in the office and from home. Whilst current opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm there is potential for this to change in the future to 8am-8pm M-F and 9am-2pm on Saturdays on a rota basis.
Please note you must live in the jurisdiction to the business to which you are contracted.
