Job Overview:
Are you passionate about data, analytics and all things SAS? If the answer is yes, then this role is the perfect opportunity to join our Customer Service Credit Team and help drive our credit offering forward. Using insight and intelligence gained, you’ll support the Credit Manager in enabling the implementation and development of credit improvements and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and maintain daily, weekly and monthly credit reports, validating the integrity and effectiveness to meet business requirements.
- Carry out reporting and analysis of customers personal accounts, using data to identify unexpected trends and make both process and systems improvements benefiting our customer and the business.
- Produce and analyse monthly credit and debtor file performance, highlighting opportunities and driving continual improvement to grow sales and reduce costs.
- Support business growth and the development of new services by analysing trends around the credit budget and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Propose and manage credit improvement projects such as developing the compliance monitoring framework, managing risk and reducing bad debt.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders around the business, identifying opportunities and developing an exceptional credit service.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, so knowledge of the credit lifecycle or credit management information / reporting would be desirable. Your experience of interpreting and analysing data, and essentially the use of data reporting tools such as SAS, is key and an essential requirement. Ideally, you will also have high level MS Excel & PowerPoint skills, with the ability to write and present both statistical data and reports, so good communication skills are also important.
