Job summary
Organisation Development is all about creating, building and supporting colleagues in the Jersey Public Service to be as effective, productive and focused in achieving our ambitions as possible.
This is about delivering on Our People strategy commitments of ‘Your Experience, Your Development, Our Organisation, Our Future’, and specifically to design, develop and deliver innovative Talent programmes that will help our people to continue to develop as they deliver the extraordinary every day.
Come and join our team as a Talent Consultant and put your experiences and passion for delivering great talent development programmes to brilliant use. You will be working on flagship Talent development programmes designed to help our very best internal talent to reach their full potential; and to attract the very best on-island talent to choose a career in Jersey Public Service. Our Talent programmes start with the foundations that are built through the ‘early in careers’ initiatives that you will work on and include our annual paid Internship programme; our new Volunteering initiative and the evolving Apprenticeship programme. Bring your creativity and people focus to help us develop innovative new talent programmes for our future leaders and managers; helping to manage secondments, placements and working with partner organisations. And be ready to use your project management skills, data analytics and insight as part of assessing current state positions as well as building performance measures and metrics as part of evaluation methodologies.
What you will bring to the team:
You will have energy in abundance, a positive and curious mindset and a strong delivery, customer centred ethos. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality innovative solutions, you will ideally have some experience in Talent development programmes, from design to delivery to evaluation.
You will be supported in your professional development and encouraged to undertake professional qualifications such as with the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) or other equivalent professional bodies.
A working knowledge of Organisation Development would be great, but we can also train you in these areas.
