- You are able to work with other ophthalmologists, physicians assistants, and medical assistants.
- You have experience with medical records, including documentation of procedures performed on patients.
- You are familiar with HIPAA regulations and the need to keep all patient information confidential.
- You have experience performing eye examinations (ophthalmology, retinoscopy, visual acuity, etc.), taking medical history, and performing tests such as EKGs and spirometry.
- You are familiar with the use of optical instruments including Snellen Ocular Test Device (OTD), IntelliVision, and IOM Vision Analyzer.
Requirements: Licensed in England by state.
Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive eye exams on patients using IOM Optical Measurement System (OTD). Perform comprehensive eye exams on patients using IntelliVision or IOM Vision Analyzer. Retrieve all patient information from IOM Optical Measurement System (OTD). Retrieve all patient information from electronic medical records or EMR system. Retrieve all patient information from electronic medical records or EMR system. Print out all patient information from electronic medical records or EMR system. Maintain electronic medical records for each patient. Prepare reports for each exam performed using IntelliVision or IOM Vision Analyzer. Maintain accurate records by recording all pertinent patient information such as insurance information, lab results, etc..
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £800.00-£1,000.00 per day
