Our consultants work in a variety of projects to solve clients' toughest data problems by combining industry experience, consulting, and analytical skills to create a lasting impact.

Our projects and clients vary greatly, and your responsibilities will differ based on your level of experience/skillset and the focus of the client engagement, but within our Analytics & Cognitive SAS practice, your role is likely to include some or all of the following:

  • Developing or leading the design and delivery of data and analytical solutions, such as ETL components, data warehousing, reporting solutions, data migration or data virtualisation solutions
  • Advising clients on appropriate tooling for a particular solution based on your expertise in specific technologies
  • Supporting our future pipeline of work, from design to sales, through to setup and delivery
  • Placing a focus upon exceeding client expectations and delivering against our continuous improvement goals, taking a client problem, and turning it into a technical solution
  • Providing technical oversight for other team members, including mentoring and guidance on technologies and methodologies
  • Having the opportunity to lead and directly shape client relationships, with extensive client interaction as part of our Analytics team
  • Working in an environment where self-development, learning and knowledge sharing is actively encouraged as part of the day-to-day work of the team

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Experience in developing solutions with the SAS software stack and core products across the SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya platforms e.g., SAS Enterprise Guide / SAS Studio, SAS DI Studio, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Visual Text Analytics, SAS Management Console / SAS Environment Manager
  • Skills in Base and Advanced level SAS programming, including SAS Macro
  • Skills in complimentary programming languages and software e.g., SQL, Python, R, Unix.
  • Skilled in the exploitation of structured and unstructured data
  • Strong experience across the data & analytics project lifecycle
  • Experience designing and implementing automated, interactive, and intelligent processes and dashboards to meet client needs
  • Experience in working with clients to refine and execute data & analytical projects to address identified business challenges/needs. Including the production/implementation of large-scale BI, data management, or analytics systems
  • Experience in data architecture and data modelling (including knowledge of ETL, star schema, SCD, MDM, Kimball, Inmon)
  • Good understanding of the value and benefits of business intelligence, data management and advanced analytics
  • Be able to present and communicate data & analytics insights from a business-centric perspective to tell a story
  • Possesses a creative mindset with a passion for exploring new innovative solutions to client challenges
  • An understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing concepts. Experience in these areas beneficial
  • Strong background in collaborative working to deliver technical projects
  • Skilled in the management of junior resource to deliver packages of work as a part of larger projects / programmes
  • Experience of contributing to sales - including the development of new business, bids, and expansion of existing accounts
  • Manage stakeholders using clear communications and be able to form strong client relationships
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of risk in relation to delivery projects
  • Previous internal or external consultancy experience required
