AAC date : 5th July 2023
NLaG is developing and investing in its acute care model. Integrated Acute Assessment Units (IAAU), including Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), have been in place since 2020. Significant building improvements are underway; two purpose built Emergency Departments are under construction, with a full refurbishment progress of IAAU facilities to follow. Information systems on the unit have been recently modernised to improve patient care and further initiatives are progressing to deliver a full Electronic Patient Record. On site, state of the art diagnostics are available 24/7, with new MRI and CT facilities recently opened. This really is an exciting time to join us.
These additional 6 posts are to support the expansion of the Acute Medicine Department.
The aim is to provide a high quality, safe and compassionate service.
If you have the necessary qualifications and attributes, come and shape the future of front line medical care at our hospital.
There is an excellent modern Development and Education Centre with extensive facilities. The opening of the Hull York Medical School has brought an increase in the number students being taught within the Department. The successful candidate will be expected to take part in the teaching of medical students.
