Devon Wildlife Trust is a successful and dynamic charity with a commercial arm, Devon Wildlife Consultants (DWC). DWC are looking for a Consultancy Administrator to join our friendly and close-knit commercial consultancy team. We provide a range of commercial services including wildlife surveys and assessment, developer support, training, and advice to businesses and landowners.
We are a growing business, and this role is required to oversee the smooth running of the office and deliver effective and efficient administrative processes for the team. Essentially you will free up the Consultants’ time to allow them to focus on delivering services, so it may not be the right opportunity for you if you are looking to start your career in ecological consultancy.
The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and a real passion for client service. You will be confident speaking to clients daily and where necessary, assertive enough to deal with debt chasing. You will apply your proven organisational skills to managing the team bat survey schedule, ensuring finance tasks are completed accurately and on time and collating the monthly marketing newsletter. We are looking for a team player who thrives on a busy and varied workload.
This is a part-time (22.5 hours per week) permanent post based at Aldens Court. We can offer flexibility on the working pattern but would like the successful candidate to work from the office at least two days a week.
In return for your hard work and dedication you’ll enjoy a wide range of benefits including:
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays increasing to 28 days after 5 years’ service (pro-rata)
- Agile working arrangements including home working
- Contributory pension scheme (conditions apply)
- Death in Service cover
- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
- Cycle to work scheme
- Training and development opportunities
Interviews are being held on Wednesday 28 June.
We welcome candidates of all backgrounds and abilities who meet the essential criteria for this role. We are an inclusive organisation that is seeking to involve more diverse audiences in our work.
