Construction Technician
Location: Tipton - Travelling around the UK
Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum
Job Type: 40 hours per week, Permanent
Overtime paid for additional hours worked
CTS Group are looking for someone to join our growing team in Tipton. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to earn as they learn. This particular part of the group specialise in Construction Materials Testing and Torque and Force Calibration Services, and holds current UKAS Accreditation in both fields.
We have a great in-house team that will ensure you have all the training you need, so no experience is necessary!

Day to day responsibilities:
- To attend construction sites nationwide daily on behalf of various clients to fulfil their testing requirements in compliance with UKAS and UK and EU Standards.
- To sample fresh concrete from concrete pours and make concrete test cubes and carry out slump tests as required by the client.
- To record concrete pour information and complete all records for site sampling.
- Complete all concrete cube information/ QA records/ booking in forms accurately and ensure all samples are returned to the lab for curing within the specified period.
Knowledge/ Qualifications
- Clean driving licence
- CSCS Card
- Practical experience and working knowledge of construction sites and knowledge of H&S best practice.
