Site Manager Vacancy
Kepi International Solutions are looking to recruit an experienced Construction Site Manager to cover 3 projects, across Yorkshire but not limited to this area when required. We also require this position to include experience in modern methods of construction.
The right candidate will have construction site manager experience on varying levels of builds, from high volume fast paced environments, to smaller standalone projects and possess the personal and leadership skills required to effectively operate a successful development to budget and schedule.
The successful candidate should:
· Be confident and look to take real ownership of projects.
· Have good technical building skills with a proven track record on new build developments and modular on site works
· Be confident in their ability to create, manage and execute a digital build programme in line with time and budget forecasts, construction delays and changes. Amend, manage, and re-execute accordingly.
· Work closely with our QS and Procurement Team to ensure timely ordering of materials to successfully execute the build programme and avoid unnecessary delays.
· Ensure site is kept well organised with all company assets registered and stored in a safe and secure manner.
· Take full responsibly and control of all site staff and sub-contractors
· Manage and chair sub-contractor site meetings to enable a smooth continuation of work and ensure schedules and design details are fully portrayed and being executed by all trades.
· Ensure that all Health and Safety standards are met and upheld through the duration of the build. Both physically and digitally, by both site staff and visitors.
· Liaise with head office, professional bodies and local authority departments, document necessary correspondence and file accordingly.
· Report site status to Higher Management monthly, this should include at a minimum an up-to-date build schedule, important site visits, issues and a resolution plan.
· Think outside the box, be decisive, know when to raise queries to management and effectively problem solve.
· Inspire a working environment that values safety, improvement, quality and innovation.
· Possess excellent man-management skills.
· Quality Management is essential
· Must be competent and thorough in on-site Health and Safety
Requirements:
· Several years of experience in the Construction Management field
· Black or Gold Card
· Successful candidates will have a proven track record of delivering construction developments on time and budget.
· Have experience from inception of a site to handover and completion.
· Show a commitment to a company and the job in hand.
· Have a can-do attitude, good IT and communication skills.
· Appreciate the commercial implications associated with construction works and incorporate these into decision making.
· Be adaptable in their work approach, having the ability to communicate effectively with trades through to the company directors.
