Job description
Construction Project Manager
- 2300039R)
The role is field based with flexibility to work from store, home or one of our Store Support Centres (Coventry, London or Manchester) and we have nationwide coverage.
There’s more to our Property team than bricks and mortar. We decide where the next Sainsbury’s should be, what size outlet that should be and then create something that lasts for decades. From location planning undertaking market analysis, we manage the lifestyle of each physical asset all the way through to redevelopment or sale. That’s broader than most retailers and means decisions concerning hundreds of £millions. Which also means we have to be highly commercial, focused on outcomes, comfortable with ambiguity and happy to act at pace. We work smarter, very flexibly and we’re trusted to get on with it. So get ready to make things happen here.
As a Project Manager your main focus will be to provide an effective Project Management service tailored to the individual customer focussed investments. You’ll be responsible for delivery of projects safely, on time, at best commercial value and great quality for our customers and colleagues whilst ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
