Construction Manager
Due to our expansion into Construction ie Refurbishment within schools etc, we are looking for a Construction Manager to join our team.
You will be the main point of contact for clients, department users and sub-contractors, responsible for day to day running of projects including all health and safety.
Requirements for role:
- Experience of project management 5 years +
- Estimating
- Able to produce risk assessments and method statements, construction phase plans and COSHH assessments
- Sub-contractor selection
- Able to produce detailed construction programmes
- Monitoring project progress and checking quality standards are met at all times
- Ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety performance on all construction sites
- Producing valuations and final accounts.
- Producing O & M manuals/ H&S Files
- Attending pre-contract meetings and liaise with Projects team
- Monitoring site activity and variations
- Managing multiple projects at a time
- Track changes to the design and/or construction work, obtain variations and adjust budget projections accordingly
- Key Skills
- Possess a high attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to identify missing item within specifications or drawings
- Commercial industry experience essential
- Conscientious
