Construction Manager

Due to our expansion into Construction ie Refurbishment within schools etc, we are looking for a Construction Manager to join our team.

You will be the main point of contact for clients, department users and sub-contractors, responsible for day to day running of projects including all health and safety.

Requirements for role:

• Experience of project management 5 years +
• Estimating
• Able to produce risk assessments and method statements, construction phase plans and COSHH assessments
• Sub-contractor selection
• Able to produce detailed construction programmes
• Monitoring project progress and checking quality standards are met at all times
• Ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety performance on all construction sites
• Producing valuations and final accounts.
• Producing O & M manuals/ H&S Files
• Attending pre-contract meetings and liaise with Projects team
• Monitoring site activity and variations
• Managing multiple projects at a time
• Track changes to the design and/or construction work, obtain variations and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Key Skills
• Possess a high attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to identify missing item within specifications or drawings
• Commercial industry experience essential
• Conscientious
