Trainee Project Manager - Construction Company

Role: Trainee Project Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the project calendar to ensure efficient scheduling of tasks and meetings.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, both on-site and with stakeholders, under the guidance of the current project manager.
- Collaborate with the main project manager to supervise and oversee various subcontractors, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Proactively handle email communications and troubleshoot any arising issues to ensure effective project execution.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills in organizing project activities and resources to optimize productivity.
- Manage software tools and systems related to project management, including handling quotes and estimates.
- Facilitate the invoicing process by sending out invoices to the office manager and maintaining accurate records.
- Take an active role in ordering construction materials, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficient in using computers and various software applications relevant to project management.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Background in project coordination or related construction fields is advantageous.
- Excellent administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills to enhance your expertise in construction project management.
- A positive and friendly attitude, with the ability to engage in good-natured banter with colleagues and team members.
