Job description
Join Our Award-Winning Energy and Infrastructure Team
Are you a Construction & Engineering Lawyer with a strong interest in renewable and clean energy and significant infrastructure projects? If so, this is a great opportunity to join a team that is recognised as being at the forefront of Net Zero, renewable energy and major infrastructure legal advice.
"The team knows the renewable energy industry inside and out and can provide really high-level expertise across a range of subjects" (Chambers UK, 2020).
"Burges Salmon LLP has an impressive cross-sector infrastructure practice with a particular focus on the energy, transport, and defence sectors" (Legal 500, 2021).
As an Associate at Burges Salmon, you will gain professional development with a structured path to advancing your career, guided by an award-winning and supportive leadership team to enhance your skills and experience.
In 2020, we were named both UK Law Firm of the Year and Energy & Infrastructure Team of the Year at the British Legal Awards 2020 and in 2021 we have been accredited as Investors in People Platinum Standard.
You will take responsibility for your work and be trusted to get on with things, leading junior colleagues in a friendly and sociable setting. Our Energy & Infrastructure team is one of the largest, most diverse projects teams in the UK, so there will be opportunities to experience and learn about different sectors whilst maintaining and growing your Energy experience.
Locations
We have offices in Bristol and Edinburgh but we also have colleagues living further afield. We don't have a strict office attendance policy, instead we have a hybrid working approach where our colleagues are trusted to support each other and get on with things, as part of a collaborative and committed team working from both the office and at home.
We are interested in hearing from both England & Wales, Scottish and Northern Irish-qualified lawyers.
