We currently have a vacancy within the Independent Living Team for a Rough Sleeper Accommodation Project Worker taking the lead on supporting individuals affected by rough sleeping to secure & sustain a tenancy with Stockport Homes.
The role will provide support to customers with a range of additional needs who face social exclusion. All customers require intensive, personalised support to help them move forward with their lives.
Assessing risk and working effectively with in-house teams and external statutory and voluntary agencies (such as Social Care and Probation services) for the benefit of customers is key to success in this role.
We are looking for someone whose previous experience of working with vulnerable individuals in a supportive capacity will empower customers to achieve successful outcomes & sustain their tenancies. Passion, self-motivation, persistence & determination are skills required from the successful candidate to engage & support customers with a range of complex needs.
Candidates must have robust IT skills in order to effectively caseload manage as well as utilise Microsoft packages.
