The Wandsworth campus of South Thames College are now seeking a Construction Technician – someone to provide support to the School of Vocational and Technical Studies.

As Construction Technician, you will carry out maintenance on the workshops and equipment as well as maintain stock levels and inventory of both equipment and materials. You will manage the deliveries of Construction equipment and consumables and assist academic staff and other Technicians to provide support in the stores and in the workshops.

This role would suit someone who holds a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Carpentry and Joinery, Plumbing or Electrical Installation and who has experience of working in the respective industry. With a friendly disposition, you’ll show commitment to our students and display an organised approach.

Experience of providing support for a Construction department is desirable, not essential.
