Overview:
We are currently looking for Skilled Bridge Labourers to join our Bridge Construction team in Grande Prairie and surrounding area.
Successful candidates should be hard working, adaptable, and enthusiastic team players, willing and ready to learn and work in all conditions.

- Perform general construction labor to include jobsite clean-up and moving of materials by hand.
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
- Receive oral instructions to determine work assignments.
- Operating motorized equipment including power tools, grinders, saws, hammers, etc.
- Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength.
- Assist in pouring and placing concrete.
- Mostly interior work but could be exposed to cold and heat, noise and dust from construction operations depending upon project site.
- High school diploma
- Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested.
- Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing.
- Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in bridge building is a must
- Preference given to candidates with concrete construction labor work experience at meets or exceeds performance expectations.
- Preference also given to those willing to learn and work in a team environment.
Competencies:
- Safety oriented
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to work in a fast paced, high production environment
- Willing to work overtime and shifts when needed including Saturdays
- Able to work unsupervised
- Able to work well with others
- Good communication skills
