Directorate: Corporate Resources
Hours: 21 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 12.45pm to 5pm and Fridays 12.30pm to 4.30pm
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: All Connect Derby Buildings
With experience of working in a busy multifunctional environment in a front-line customer service role.
You will:
  • Be the first point of call for all enquiries within your allocated building
  • contribute to the effective day to day running and operations of the Connect Derby buildings.
  • be responsible for a safe, clean and tidy working environment for all building users
  • be responsible for manning the reception desk and providing switchboard call handling and general administrative support
  • be qualified to OCR/RSA 2 in word processing and IT or equivalent
  • have good all-round effective communication skills.
  • Have a flexible approach to work demands whilst not compromising customer care.
  • Have the ability to commit to short notice cover if needed
  • Be a customer service champion
  • Be able to work on your own initiative while being part of the team
  • Have the resilience to multitask and manage a variety of demands simultaneously
  • Other duties will involve data input, filing, photocopying and management of booking systems for room hire and conferencing
