Job description
We are looking to add a Remote Support Expert (Home Users) - Home Based Role to our growing team who provide local technology experts to home users baffled by technology.
The Role:
- Remotely solve basic computer problems for our home user customers, such as resetting passwords, installing updates etc
- Remotely delivering training, explaining how to complete simple tasks such as sending an email or printing a document.
- Assessing the problem presented by the customer and escalating jobs that can't be carried out remotely to our Digital Champions who can provide onsite support.
- Liaise with area manager to full-fill activities such as; annual computer health checks, printer installations, etc.
The Person :
- Extremely friendly and able to quickly build relationships with our customers, happily chatting to them whilst working.
- Fantastic communication skills, explaining complex issues in really simple basic language that our customers will understand.
- Extremely comfortable with Windows, Andriod and iOS. Ability troubleshooting Macs would be a bonus.
- Must demonstrate our company values and behaviours which includes going the extra mile to ensure that our customers are delighted with the service received.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 4pm to 7pm. This is a home based role so a suitable home office space is required.
