Computer Support Analyst
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum dependent on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid Working (2 days/week in Head Office)
We've an exciting opportunity for a Computer Support Analyst to join us at Head Office. This role performs operational tasks associated with the running and control of our Information Systems. This includes oversight of batch processing runs, trials and tests as well as providing first line support to critical systems, with the aim of problem solving or referring to second line.
You'll be:

A good communicator, able to respond to enquiries from users, specialists and external agencies/suppliers. You'll also have great customer skills, maintaining a service-centric approach.
- Taking appropriate action in response to any non-scheduled or non-routine incidents that may affect delivery of our service to customers. This could include amendments to work scheduling, changes to equipment and other facilities, and all aspects of security.
- Updating manuals and procedures, where needed, and investigate batch job and equipment failures.

Designing new batch schedules in the event of failures.

Responsible for maintenance, development and configuration of our backup and recovery solution.

Installing and maintaining security patches across the server estate.
- Working, on a rota basis, to provide out of hours support as well as Saturday shift, once a month.
You'll have:

A good understanding of batch scheduling and back up/recovery solutions. We use BMC Control-M and Veeam.
- Experience of providing a service based on SLAs where you take actions to ensure that these are met.
- Good experience of MS Office products and a keen interest in IT.
