Overview
Data and AI are core capabilities for Next 15 and we are constantly innovating to make sure we offer our clients the best service we possibly can. This year, we want to work with a small team of computer science undergraduates for a summer internship/camp to deliver a series of proof of concepts (POCs) and short projects for our businesses. The projects are likely to include:
Comparing existing generative AI tools for different purposes within our businesses
Experimenting with and training the latest open source tools to create custom models for our businesses
Experimenting with AutoGPT to create automations to accelerate our companies’ work
We are looking for up to 4 computer science (or equivalent) students who are willing to undertake a number of new projects and learn with us, with support and guidance from a member of the Next 15 team. You will work in a series of weekly sprints with a demo at the end of each week. You will often work directly with senior leaders from our businesses in helping to apply AI and data thinking to their business challenges.
Project Duration:
Up to 8 weeks starting at the end of June. We can be flexible to deal with planned holidays

Equipment:
We will supply you with the required equipment and software
Required skills and abilities:
Computer science undergrad (or other demonstrating strong software skills)
Understanding of LLMs and evolving techniques such as LoRA for training them
Proficiency in common languages and frameworks alongside cloud hosting technology to develop and deploy rapid turnaround POCs
Some skills in helping translate the needs of our people into software solutions (helpful, but not essential)
