Job description

Duties:

The Computer repair Technician will be taking care of design, installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of computer systems and associated infrastructure.

Identify hardware and software problems by analyzing symptoms, performing tests, and using diagnostic tools to determine the root cause of issues.

Repair or replace faulty hardware components such as motherboards, hard drives, memory modules, graphics cards, power supplies, and peripherals. Upgrade hardware components to improve performance or meet customer requirements.

Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and software applications. Detect and remove viruses, malware, and other malicious software from infected computers. Install and configure antivirus software to prevent future infections.

Maintain detailed records of repairs, including problem descriptions, solutions applied, and parts used. Generate reports on repair activities and statistics.

Skills and Qualification:

To fit in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of our services, a
strong interest in electronic items, a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a
similar set up is preferred.

Should be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent vocational qualification in relevant field, or if not a degree holder, should be able to demonstrate relevant equivalent experience or industry certification. Should be proficient in operating systems such as windows, linux or mac OS.

Familiarity with hardware components and computer architecture. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve hardware, software, and network problems. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Must have strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the team members, end-users and other IT professionals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals. Self-motivation and a proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Salary: £22,500.00 per year
