Job description
We are looking for a Hardware Technician to join our team and help with the testing, repair and refurbishment of IT hardware. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting hardware issues, installing new components, and performing system upgrades. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, an ability to work independently, and a strong understanding of computer hardware components.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
- Test hardware components for compatibility with other components.
- Removal of data and testing of mobile phones, tablets and Chromebooks.
- Test and reset network equipment including Cisco and HP Enterprise.
- Refurbish PCs and Laptops for resale though our e-commerce channels.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Create detailed reports of all work performed.
- Keep up to date with the latest hardware technologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £19,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
