Role: Compliance Project Manager – Product Insurance length: 9 months PayRate: £450.00 - £650.00 Daily PAYE Location: London (3 days per week in the office, 2 working remote) Job Description: The company’s Product Insurance (PI) team is looking for a new customer-obsessed, hands-on and delivery-focused team-member. PI is a business that enables insurers to sell accidental damage, theft protection, and warranty extension insurances for products sold. You will be the compliance champion, working in close collaboration with Product Insurance (PI) team (leadership, tech, biz dev, project), and with a variety of stakeholders including compliance, legal, finance, managing multiple workstreams aiming at structuring the PI business and setting solid foundations to drive long-term success for the business. You will identify potential initiatives, and drive proposal to leadership, and then own the delivery and implementation of selected initiatives. You will project manage your initiatives autonomously, ensuring you have deliveries timelines, dependencies and next steps identified at all time, and proactively address unforeseen challenges in order to deliver on time and within high standards. You will pro-actively look for synergies with other areas in the organisation to simplify processes where possible. You want to innovate on behalf of customers, have good stakeholders management skills, are able to drive multiple workstreams whilst identifying and prioritizing the most important ones, have a desire to roll up your sleeves and to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to influence and strong writing skills are also key to success. Key job responsibilities: Owning PI compliance initiatives, from identification of opportunities to delivery and implementation, and supporting on going ones - this cover both compliance to UK and EU regulations. Acting as compliance focal point within the PI team, liaising with team members (commercial and tech) to ensure ongoing initiative align with compliance governance Influencing beyond the PI team to obtain support or inputs in order to deliver your initiatives Writing documentation and trainings, and liaising with appropriate teams for implementation Reporting to PI business leaders Basic qualifications: BA/BS degree with certificate of completion of studies required. 5+ years in insurance in UK and EU, in a compliance role (understanding of FCA and CAA regulations) Experience working in a tech environment, ideally an online retailer Fluency in English, French is a plus.
