West Road Haulage are an award-winning family haulage company based in Burton on Trent.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport Compliance Administrator. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the company’s future growth and therefore must be flexible, committed to the business, and reliable.
This is a varied role and working along-side the Managing Director, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference and grow within a reputable and expanding company.
Essential to the role:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Friendly & focused, with a can-do attitude.
- Experience in the transport industry and transport compliance.
- Well presented with the ability to liaise with customers.
- A strong focus on accuracy and eye for detail.
- Must be flexible with work hours.
- Experience of Microsoft Packages.
The Role / Day to Day:
- Office working hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
- Working along side the Managing Director in maintaining compliance throughout the business.
- Assisting with audits (FORS, Health & Safety, Operator Licensing)
- Arranging and attending meetings, compiling notes and records.
- Liaising with drivers and managing training, licencing and infringement records.
- Filing and auditing records.
- Assisting with other general office and yard duties as required and within reason to aid in the effective running of the business.

Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
