PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To contribute to business growth, and the safeguarding of vulnerable adults by the effective and efficient supply of suitably qualified, registered and compliant staff to our clients. You will do this by ensuring that all of our recruitment processes are followed effectively, that candidates are screened thoroughly and meet all regulatory requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Sign-off of new candidates
· Ensure new staff have correct documentation in place and on file.
· Following correct procedures
· Conducting onboarding calls
· Monitoring the compliance inbox
· Responding to compliance emails
· Handling/responding to inbound compliance calls
· Participating in team meetings
· Updating & meeting KPI’s
· Running compliance reports
· Ensuring that staff on the platform remain compliant (NMC/SSSC/RTW/PVG etc)
· Issuing uniform
· Printing and distribution of ID badges
· General admin tasks eg; scanning; copying; filing (electronic)
· Keeping external staff files up to date
· Monthly NMC & SSSC checks
· Training new staff (as directed by Lead Compliance Officer)
· Supporting external staff with compliance documentation (for example; how to send PVG as an attachment
· Supporting external staff with SSSC registration
· Liaising with other departments
· Identifying and highlighting non-compliance
· Stock checking of staff uniforms
· Contributing to continuous improvement
· Escalating any concerns/queries where necessary
· Contacting staff about non-compliance
· Participating in the weekend on-call rota (shift coordination)
· Any other duties as directed by your Line Manager
