Working with a Global Asset Manager who are currently looking for a Compliance Officer for a maternity cover. This position will be generalist in nature, with a focus on monitoring of front office activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Conducting trade compliance monitoring across all asset classes traded and implementing system improvements.
• Overseeing the provision of comprehensive advisory, monitoring and control services
• Advisory relating to multiple lines of strategy
• Keep up to date on relevant regulatory developments
• Undertake due diligence checks and sanctions screening
• Conduct thematic reviews and maintain and improve the compliance monitoring programme.

Key requirements:

• Previous experience within an Asset Manager, Investment Bank or other buy-side firm
• Compliance experience across monitoring, surveillance & advisory would be ideal
