The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (HSS) is central to this vision, working closely with practice partners to prepare and develop health care and social work professionals to provide high quality care. The Faculty is situated at Lansdowne Campus, in central Bournemouth and close to its beautiful beaches and amenities.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to ensure Faculty compliance with a range of legal and regulatory matters including, but not limited to, health, social care and other Faculty-related apprenticeship regulation and compliance, NHS contract compliance and monitoring and management of contract related key performance indicators. They will maintain and develop further relationships with NHS trusts educational leads and other employers related to both apprentice and CPD provisions. The role will need to liaise and work closely with the Academic Quality teams responsible for Apprentice and educational oversight and governance both within the Faculty and the University.
The role will instigate local process development where necessary to ensure regulatory and legal compliance, in liaison with relevant Professional Services experts - for example in Academic Services, Legal Services, Human Resources and Procurement; and externally with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and Ofsted. The post-holder will also be the primary point of contact for employer Apprenticeship Contract Managers.
The postholder with need to demonstrate significant experience in managing regulatory or legal compliance, with strong organisational flair and a flexible approach to managing deadlines effectively in a complex environment. You will also have experience in working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and be able to communicate with colleagues at all levels. Experience in at least one of the fields of NHS contracts, information security or apprenticeship administration is desirable.
The role will also act as line manager for Faculty roles of Statistics Administrator and NHS Student Bursary Administrator.
