Job description
We are recruiting for two ISO Compliance and Administrative Officer's based within our South West Forensic Department.
To provide a professional and confidential administrative service to identified customers (individual, team, or unit). Reporting to the ISO technical lead in each force, this role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO requirements in accordance with agreed Quality standards and will ensure the provision of administrative expertise.
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring the CSI department operates within the requirements of ISO, using approved quality management systems including environmental monitoring, consumable provision and quality checking, equipment, resource monitoring and the associated documentation. They will support operational officers making best use of administrative and organisational skills to maximise productivity and efficiency.
To ensure ISO Compliance Management for CSI and Local Area. To include calibration of technical equipment, asset management, stock control & batch testing, environmental monitoring, auditing and quality assurance.
To provide support to Team Leaders and Regional Forensic Coordinators in the form of diary management and other administrative activities. To provide administrative support to a range of meetings and/or events as required on a regular basis.

We currently have two permanent position available one based at Bridgwater & one at Kenneth Steele House, Bristol as per our usual process, we will be using this process to also create a recruitment bank for future positions, should there be any further posts available in the near future.
