Job description
We are looking for an individual with integrity to join our team as a Compliance Assistant who will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the compliance framework and culture within AutoProtect Group and the collation and analysis of key compliance performance and outcome measures.
The role
The key responsibilities are:
- Provide support and training on policy and procedures in line with regulatory landscape and market changes
- Educate employees on compliance regulations and the impact of non-compliance on the Group
- Maintain anti money laundering and sanction processes
- Liaison with AutoProtect Clients and Insurers to enable due diligence and audit procedures
- Liaison with divisional / departmental management in regard to accurate measurement and feedback on quality, conduct and performance
- Attend the Compliance Committee in support of the Head of Compliance
- Provide a point of contact for compliance and FCA regulation related queries
- Review and enhance control measures to manage compliant activity and mitigate risk
- Prepare reports for management on the firm’s adherence to regulatory standards and on the effectiveness of controls in place
- To support and manage operational requirements relating to data protection
- Work closely with the Head of Compliance to deliver assurance on compliance and conduct to the Board and Shareholders
- Contribute to product / service development
- To conduct quality assurance reviews through to collation of recommended actions and ongoing monitoring
- Other reasonable duties as required.

Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
- Basic understanding of the practical and technical requirements of the FCA, ICO and any other relevant regulatory and trade bodies
- Strong administrative and process management experience
