We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our clients successful manufacturing operation based in Ilkeston.

This is a standalone role with responsibility for processing two frequencies of payrolls, weekly & monthly for different areas within the group.

Duties will include:

• Monitoring of all clocking in times
• Recording all absences Holiday/Sickness/Special leave etc
• Processing new Starters/Leavers
• Processing of pay reviews/bonus
• Producing payslips
• Answer any queries relating to pay/Tax/Pension etc
• RTI Process
• Auto enrolment compliance and admin
• Full payroll reporting
• Holiday average pay processing
• Processing of all spreadsheets relevant to payroll
• Administration of company benefits and reporting
• Year-end process

Skills /experience required:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• High attention to detail
• Self-sufficient, with the ability to work independently
• Good IT skills, including Excel
