Compliance Administrator Vacancy
Temporary Contract Opportunity via BRC

I’m currently working with a large University who are looking for a Compliance Technician to join their Estates and Facilities Team. This role will initially be on a temporary contract basis but will have permanent possibilities.
Job Details:
- Responsible for updating asset register following updating of current systems and appliances.
- Responsible for ensuring that all commissioning documentation and warranties are provided and administered centrally upon completion by the contractor.
- Responsible for ensuring all RAMS and Method Statements are provided in relation to all projects undertaken.
- Ensure a strong working relationship between the Compliance team and the helpdesk administration team.
- Support the Compliance Manager to ensure scheduled work is prioritised and communicated to the Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, contractors and commercial third parties.
- Responsible for ensuring scheduled and unplanned work is completed within the expected timescales / deadlines.
- Communicate works plans with stakeholders / service users.
- Support the Compliance Manager in contract management of service level agreements with external stakeholders.
- Contribute towards the setting up and assist in the delivery of the University’s Planned Preventative (statutory and non-statutory) and Cyclical Maintenance Programs including maintaining the statutory compliance certification.
- Support in the administration of University condition surveys across the Estate.
- Maintain, update, and review the Asbestos Registers.
- Prepare statistical reports for the Compliance Manager.
- Support in the setting up and take responsibility for maintenance of a database of the University’s physical assets.
Personal Specification:
- Possess good interpersonal, communication and presentational skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to demonstrate effective organisational skills as well as meet tight deadlines when required.
- Possess good IT skills and proven ability to use the full range of Microsoft Office software (including Excel) and CAFM Software
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently or as part of a team and in partnership with others.
- Able and prepared to work flexibly, including regular travel between campuses & other locations when required.
Additional Information:
1. Permanent Salary £28,929-32,411 (hourly rate negotiable within this pay grade)
2. Flexible agile working options – up to 2 days from home
3. Travel sometimes required so must have a full driving license and access to a car.
4. Full time 37 hours per week
5. Equipment is provided.
