Job description
The role is to work within the Compliance Team to ensure that all departments within Property Management operate in line with regulatory, statutory, legal and internal compliance requirements. The candidate will be responsible for completing conformance reporting and monitoring the Compliance diary for client money controls.
Key Responsibilities
The Compliance Administrator is responsible for ensuring the continuous conformance of the business to internal and external regulations. Tasks are comprised of:
- Compliance Team Inbox management (monitor, control & distribute queries)
- Compiling Compliance Control Reports
- System Access Review
- PM Team monitoring – other departments
- Compliance Diary Completion
- Validation Controls:
- Vendor Management
- Manual Entry Review
- Client Accounts and Tenant Refund Review
- Cash Transfers
Key Skills
- Have high attention to detail, be well organised and possess a good level of initiative
- Be articulate, professional and persuasive, with an adaptable communication style
- Have the ability to work with a relative degree of autonomy with minimal supervision
- Intermediate excel skills as a minimum.
- Ability to deal with challenging mandates and a high work load
Team Overview
The Compliance Team is made up of 4 people; Head of Risk, the Compliance Manager and 2 Compliance Officers. The Team specialise in risk mitigation, conformance reporting, and regulatory advice. Our working environment is collaborative and focussed on continuous improvement.
