Complex Manager (multi-site food and beverage)

The multi-venue complex at Golden Coast includes the Beach House Bar and Bistro, the Beach Bar (outside), the Kids Bar, The Old Mill traditional pub, and the Bowling Bar.
Salary: £37,000 pa
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 40 hours over 5 days each week. Shifts will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Location: Golden Coast Leisure Park, Woolacombe, North Devon, EX34 7HW
On-park staff accommodation can be provided
About the Role: With overall responsibility for the food and beverage service across the venues you will oversee all aspects of the service and the staff, leading by example with a friendly and professional approach. Ensuring our customers are having the best experience possible is an integral part of the role, whether it is dealing with complaints swiftly, mentoring the team in customer service excellence or just getting stuck in to whatever tasks need completing during a busy shift. Achieving KPIs related to stock management, wage percentages and team development will be a key part of this role.
About the Person: You will need to have previous experience of managing a food and beverage service and be able to demonstrate effective measures for reducing waste and increasing sales. You will also need to have previous experience with managing and developing a staff team and be able to demonstrate effective ways of motivating the team to achieve excellence. Good knowledge of the licensing laws (plus a personal license) and food standards agency code of practice is essential.
Above all, you will need to have the right attitude. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and so we expect you to do everything in your power to make their Verdant experience the absolute best it could possibly be. We don’t believe in ‘that’s not my job’ so you will need to be adaptable and flexible to help the wider park team meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
