Complex Carer
£11.97 – £21.14 per hour
Prestige Nursing & Care Manchester branch are currently recruiting Complex Carers to work with clients in Salford.
We have been operating for 12 years and we look after a variety of clients in their own homes and in the community, including children, young adults and the elderly and we specialise in Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, Challenging Behaviours and Complex Needs.
We are the number one provider Case Management and Solicitors Firms who have clients who need care following catastrophic injury.
They come us to form the support arm of the Multi-Disciplinary Team where we work closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists with the aim of achieving the best outcomes for the clients we support.
We are often involved with the same clients for a number of years so you get to see your clients develop and see the benefits of the important work you do.
The Role:
- To work closely with nurses and other professionals involved in the care package
- Administering medications
- All Personal Care
- Develop good relationships with the client and her family
- Deliver complex cares to the client (full training client specific training provided)
- Enable clients to partake in social activities

We’re looking for:
- Six months’ paid experience in care such as a care assistant, domiciliary carer, personal healthcare assistant, support worker, care worker or similar.
- Excellent communication skills
- A driver’s licence is an advantage but not a requirement
- Good professional and personal references
- Excellent and personable manner
- Hard working attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills
