Job description
About Charles River Associates
CRA's European Competition Practice specialises in providing economic advice and analysis on competition policy and regulation.
We assist firms and their legal advisors in all types of competition proceedings before competition authorities and courts in the UK and Europe. These matters can include where firms are:
- Considering merger and acquisition opportunities or involved in merger control proceedings;
- Undergoing investigations relating to cartels, restrictive commercial agreements, abuse of dominance or state aid;
- Involved in regulatory proceedings and sector inquiries.
- Require estimation of the effects and damages in cartel cases, international arbitration and intellectual property disputes.
We have a reputation for rigorous and innovative economic analysis, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider team of advisors. From Airtours to GE/Honeywell, Tetra/Sidel, Oracle/PeopleSoft, Ryanair/Aer Lingus, TomTom/Tele Atlas, Microsoft and Intel, we have played a key role in many of the cases that have shaped European competition policy in recent years. More recently, we have been at the forefront of economic thinking in antitrust investigations and regulation in the tech sector with investigations.
