Compensation Manager, Americas region

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Compensation Manager to join our company. As the Regional Compensation Manager, you will serve as an internal consultant, providing expert solutions and advice on pay and compensation-related matters. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective compensation programs and strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives. You will oversee compensation activities for multiple locations including M&A companies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as corporate guidelines. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent through competitive and equitable compensation practices. This position requires a deep understanding of our organization's structure, culture, values, and strategic objectives, as well as comprehensive knowledge of the diversity and complexity of the US job market and its pay variations across different business model, locations and job functions.

Key Responsibilities:

The Compensation Manager will develop and execute compensation strategies that support the organization's overall compensation philosophy and business objectives.

The Compensation Manager Job Evaluation and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive job evaluations and market analysis to determine competitive compensation levels for various roles within the region.

The Compensation ManagerSalary Planning: Develop and administer salary structures, including merit increase programs, salary ranges, and bonus/incentive plans, ensuring alignment with company guidelines.

Compensation Benchmarking: Conduct regular benchmarking studies to ensure the competitiveness of our compensation programs and practices within the industry and local markets.

Compliance and Policy: Ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations, including equal pay laws, labor market practices, and internal policies.

Performance Management: Collaborate with HR and business leaders to integrate compensation strategies with performance management programs, ensuring fair and consistent performance evaluations and recognition.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret compensation data to identify trends, make recommendations, and provide insightful reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Communication and Training: Develop and deliver training programs and communication materials to educate managers and employees on compensation policies, practices, and guidelines.

Internal Consulting: Act as an internal consultant, providing pay and compensation-related solutions and advice to managers and stakeholders, addressing specific compensation challenges, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in compensation management is a plus.

10 years of experience in Human Resources Management and compensation management, preferably in a regional or multi-site environment.

Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations, including job evaluation methodologies, market pricing, and incentive plan design.

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing compensation strategies aligned with business objectives.

Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using spreadsheets, databases, and compensation software.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Understanding of Organization: Develop a deep understanding of our organization's structure, culture, values, and strategic objectives to ensure that compensation programs and practices align with the unique needs and goals of our company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
