Compensation Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Total Rewards team and be responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of a number of compensation programs from scratch globally across the organization (including but not limited to base pay, incentives and equity grants) and ensure we are providing competitive compensation packages to our employees and we are in compliance with legal requirements.

You will be an early joiner of the Total Rewards team and work closely with the Director of the Department and the People partners to analyze the impact of a wide range of compensation programs and evaluate different options. You will research current market practices, measure the effectiveness of existing plans, and evaluate current and future opportunities. You will work cross-functionally and globally and make an impact on the future of the Compensation strategy.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the design and implementation of Benefits programs and other People wide initiatives when required.

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Supporting the development and implementation of the Compensation strategy, including: salary benchmarking, equity and annual compensation events such as bonus and salary review
  • Help design and deliver Sales and non-Sales incentive plan to increase productivity and drive top-line revenue growth
  • Review and design the Stock Options program
  • Coordinate Annual performance and pay reviews to ensure relevant market benchmarking and consistency of application.
  • Designing and implementing relevant and intuitive compensation programs
  • Conducting, collecting and analyzing data from market-based compensation surveys to determine market trends.
  • Benchmarking jobs against data collected and market intelligence to determine competitive compensation for each role.
  • Preparing and maintaining job classifications and salary scales.
  • Evaluating and implementing job analysis tools, techniques, and materials.
  • Preparing and presenting reports of job and compensation analysis.
  • Planning and communicating best practices for evaluating and compensating employees.
  • Researching and advising on relevant state and federal laws to ensure the organization remains compliant with its compensation policies globally.

You should apply if you have (we know it's tough, but please try to avoid the confidence gap. You don't have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role):

  • A very high degree of analytical skills and very advanced Excel/Google sheets skills including complex formulas and pivot tables is essential
  • Compensation analysis or HR generalist experience required
  • Experience in Benchmarking and Market pricing
  • Salary planning and program administration
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Organization and time management

Bonus:

  • Experience in Job evaluation and Compensation program design
  • Experience in managing Stock option plans
  • Experience of working in a global high growth organisation
