Home Instead Tamworth & Lichfield covers Tamworth, Lichfield, Fradley, Whittington, Atherstone, Coleshill as well as all the rural areas in between. We’re looking for Care Professionals who can support their community to get up and start their day, create good food that Is suitable for the older style pallet, escort them out to events or appointments, help people fathom the wonders of technology so they can see and speak to distant family, support them with the more mundane tasks within the house including laundry, housework and engage in conversation about todays world from the news in the papers to whats on the TV.
This role can be as varied as the people you help because we are all different and everyone likes routines and tasks done in different ways.
Hours of work will always be part time to fit around your own commitments because we believe in work life balance!
You will be supporting our older generation to be able to stay within their own home, keeping them independent and safe but having fun as well!
Your dignified and respectful approach to helping our older community is vital to the success of them continuing to enjoy staying at home, independently and safe. We match you to your Client and then you will be the consistent visitor who builds a relationship with them, getting to know them, understanding what is important to them, how they prefer life's routines to be done. AND you have a minimum of 1 hour to spend with each Client but should they wish to go shopping, have lunch out or ask you to take them to the coffee shop the hours increase accordingly. We do quality home care, the sort you would want your own loved ones to received.
This role does require a driver with the use of a car so that you can take Clients of senior years out to enjoy themselves.
Hourly rate is £10.60 - £15.75 per hour depending on qualifications
