Essential Criteria; Male, with commitment to work all shift patterns on this 24/7 case.

Desirable criteria; Rehabilitation or Brain Injury experience, or experience working within a care setting.

Case Overview; The gentleman we support has an acquired brain injury, experiences seizures, and has some restricted vision. To ensure continuous care, 2-1 support is provided at all times, and you will always be working closely with a core member of the team. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including personal care, PEG medication, and NIPPY vent support.

As his support worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting with daily activities such as shopping, getting up, dressing, and washing. It is important to note that the gentleman prefers an informal approach, and he sees his staff as friends rather than just support workers. He has a cheeky personality and enjoys bantering with the team. Joining our well-established team will provide you with a supportive and friendly environment. We encourage bonding and teamwork, making it easier to connect with your colleagues. The gentleman's interests include music, football, and animals, particularly parrots.

Flexibility is key for this position, as it involves a variety of shifts. Days, Waking nights and Weekends are essential, and they are part of a rolling rota. We are seeking individuals with excellent communication skills, as building rapport and understanding the gentleman's preferences are integral to providing the best support possible.

If you are passionate about making a positive impact in someone's life and believe you have the qualities to thrive in this role, we would be delighted to hear from you.
