Job description

The role of Marketing Coordinator will play an important part in the operation of MWEG:

This person will carry out a number of tasks including:

  • Leading the development of all marketing plans including digital and advertising.
  • Ensuring the implementation of effective marketing strategies including branding and positioning strategies.
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
  • Focusing on growing audiences and the uptake for our services.
  • Reviewing and reporting on all areas of the marketing strategies and its implementation.
  • Developing the corporate brand identity in consultation with board members.
  • Conducting strategic marketing analysis that will help guide marketing messages.
  • Providing input on social media planning and execution.
  • Working to continuously ensure the company marketing goals are communicated across the organisation and improving the company’s marketing outreach efforts.
  • Ensuring that all current marketing and copyright regulations comply with accepted professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Routinely sharing strategies, progress, results, learnings, and relevant industry trends, with the broader team.

  • Attend regular meetings and participate in decision making for the marketing and branding of the organisation
  • Complete the tasks listed above
  • Take the initiative in completing tasks or suggesting tasks that can improve our branding and marketing

Our ideal candidate:

  • Excellent copywriting skills to get a brand’s message across
  • Creativity to develop effective strategies and campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills to convey innovative ideas and gauge the needs of
  • customers
  • Strong analytical skills in order to analyse and interpret information and make
  • recommendations for improved results
  • Proficiency in relevant software programs, including word processing, database
  • and data analysis applications
  • Solid project management skills, as these professionals often have multiple
  • projects running at the same time
